Our work spans small craft through to commercial and specialist applications, supporting clients locally and nationwide for the right projects.

Background & Experience

Tide & Field Technical is built on a broad technical background that spans fabrication, marine engineering, and complex electrical systems.

The foundations were formed in fabrication and manufacturing, developing practical skills in building, modifying, and installing equipment to meet specific operational needs. This was followed by an extended period of service in the Royal Navy as an electrical fitter, working across a wide range of marine electrical and mechanical systems in demanding environments where reliability and safety are critical.

More recently, experience has included work with unmanned and autonomous vessels, supporting modern marine technologies alongside traditional systems. This blend of conventional marine engineering and newer platforms allows Tide & Field Technical to support everything from established vessel systems to evolving technical applications.
